Plot/Story: We have no singular plot-line, as the forum is entirely open-ended and we encourage all players to create, moderate and play out their own stories. We feel this is will facilitate creative expression and imagination more effectively than having members memorize the history of events leading up to the premise as it exists currently. World of Darkholm, however proudly offers this to our players:

• A site that stresses authentic character development, and collaborative storytelling over pointless dueling and one-upping

Other notes: The purpose of WoD is to revive the lost, and forgotten roots of supernatural fiction and fantasy. WoD, while not made in opposition to more modern-based or themed fantasy boards, is envisioned as a Haven for those who wish for a return to the original, and historical elements no longer found in supernatural tales, and horror stories. "We are not 'anti-twilight'; we're simply Old School".
